ANTI-HUMAN TRAFFICKING EVENT
In January, we launched our initiative to fight human trafficking. Many of you expressed your interest in serving on the team and have been meeting with Amanda Marshall, our team coordinator, to determine how best to fight this crime against humanity.
We have organized a special event on Saturday, July 21at 9:30am in Room 227 for anyone interested in helping to fight human trafficking in our area. This event is educational and informative. We will view a documentary and hear from the Cuyahoga and Lake County coordinators from Save our Adolescents from Prostitution, known as S.O.A.P. The event will conclude with an opportunity to sign up for training in assisting S.O.A.P. with their mission to fight human trafficking throughout Lake County.
Childcare is not available, and due to the subject nature, this program is not recommended for those under age 13. Parental discretion is advised.
