Mastering Motherhood Spring Session 2022

Whether you are a new mother, a homeschooling mom, one who has seen their children off to college and having babies on their own, or someone who doesn’t have children but would enjoy a Thursday morning study with other women, you are welcome to attend. How does Mastering Motherhood+ (MM+) work? We have a Kickoff Brunch at the beginning of each semester. At this brunch, the small group leaders will have books available at tables for you to look through. This will hopefully help narrow down which study you might want to do. Each week after the Kickoff Brunch, the ladies come together as a large group for brunch and devotions then break off into small groups and study different books.

Check out the Mastering Motherhood newsletter below for group details. You can just show up on the 16th and sign up for the group of your choice OR via the Church Center app register for the group of your choice! With regards to Covid-19, we will follow all CDC guidelines including encouraging masks for moms and elementary children but not mandating. We will also be spreading tables out in the large group meeting and only having 6 chairs at each table.

BUT THERE’S MORE!! Starting this session we are opening a homeschool group for children grades 1-5. Kindergarten and below will still be welcomed into our childcare rooms. This group will be led by Debbie Dauterman, a long-time homeschool mother herself! She will have a lesson all planned for your children, so no worries about missing out on precious lesson time as we all understand how important time is. While I stated above that there is no need to register if you could let us know (email info@whfriends.org) if your child(ren) will be participating in this class that would be super helpful so we can plan accordingly!

How much does it cost? Each Thursday you attend, the cost is $3 if you are coming without children (and used to make sure there are plenty of coffee and paper plates to fill with brunch food) and $5 per household if you are coming with children (childcare provided).  Want more information?  Check out
