In honor of Human Trafficking Awareness Month, the Anti-Human Trafficking Team at Friends Church, now called Friends4Freedom, invites you to the Free to Thrive program on Thursday, January 24, 2019 in the Worship Center.  Join us to learn more about the issue and what we are doing to make a difference.  We begin at 6:30pm and welcome guest speakers, Laura Bartchak, Director of the Harriet Tubman Movement and Amanda Marshall, Anti-Human Trafficking Activist.

Sutisana products will be sold at the event.  Sutisana offers employment to survivors of human trafficking.  Cash, check or credit card will be accepted.  Preview products at

In addition, we will be collecting toiletries from January 19th to the 27th to assist survivors who have been rescued from trafficking.  Items in need include:  Shampoo and Conditioner (full size), Shower Gel (full size), Cozy Socks, Deodorant, Tampons and Lotion.  Donated items can be dropped off at the Go table in the Worship Center Atrium.

Childcare is not available, and due to the subject nature, this program is not recommended for those under age 13. Parental discretion is advised.
