Cleaning Team Position Opening

Friends Church is seeking a dedicated individual with a positive attitude to join our cleaning team! This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment in designated areas of both Friends Church and Cornerstone Christian Academy. During the school year, duties will follow both the CCA & Friends Church Building Cleaning Plan and assigned rooms from your Cleaning Coordinator. Summer responsibilities will be in accordance with a Summer Cleaning Plan provided by the Executive Director of Facilities.

Available Positions:

  • Monday through Friday: 12:00pm to 5:00pm
  • Saturday from 2:00pm to 9:00pm

(Saturday position will follow standard cleaning duties and focus on extra jobs assigned by the Cleaning Coordinator)

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
  • Attention to detail
  • Positive attitude
  • Confidentiality and discretion required
  • Able to bend, sit, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to walk the majority of the work shift and climb stairs as needed
  • Able to handle large vacuum and cleaning equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Cleaning Coordinator
  • Must live on- and off-duty according to Friends Church Statement of Faith and Code of Staff Conduct contained in the Friends Employee Handbook

Youth Pastor

Friends Church is seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Pastor to lead and grow our ministry to teens. This role involves developing and implementing engaging youth programs, providing pastoral care and mentorship, equipping volunteers, and partnering with parents to support their children’s spiritual growth. The ideal candidate has a strong personal relationship with Jesus, a calling to youth ministry, and leadership experience in a church or ministry setting.

Responsibilities include organizing large group experiences, small groups, events, discipleship, recruiting and training volunteers, maintaining a healthy leader-to-student ratio, and managing ministry communication and administration. This position requires strong relational, organizational, and communication skills, as well as flexibility to work evenings and weekends to effectively serve our youth and church community.
