We exist to help the greater northeast Ohio community.

At Friends Church, we partner with local organizations who are meeting real needs, caring for our neighbors, and bringing hope to people throughout our community. These partnerships give us opportunities to serve beyond the walls of the church and be part of what God is doing in the lives of people around us.

We believe the Church is called to do more than gather on Sundays. We are called to love our neighbors and serve our Northeast Ohio community with compassion and purpose. Through our local partnerships, we come alongside organizations that are already doing meaningful work, offering support, building relationships, and helping people take steps toward a better future.

Painesville City Schools

Through our partnership with Painesville City Schools, we have the opportunity to invest in the next generation right here in our local community. By spending time with elementary students, supporting school staff, and building meaningful relationships, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of children and their families. Whether you serve one-on-one with a student, help in a small group, or support behind the scenes, every opportunity is a chance to show the love of Christ in a practical way. Join us as we come alongside local schools and help create a brighter future for the kids in our community.

BETTY'S BOTIQUE

Boutique is a friendly, confidential store, located in the back parking lot of Friends Church where individuals in need can come to shop for free. Eligibility for shopping is based on need, not income. The store consists of new and gently used clothes for men, women, and children of all ages and sizes, as well as household items and toiletries.

Everyone deserves to experience care, hope, and the support of a community. Through our partnerships with City Mission, Crossroads Men’s Home, and Laura’s Home, we have opportunities to come alongside individuals and families in challenging seasons and help them take steps toward a brighter future. Whether you serve at one of the men’s or women’s homes or join us for an All-Church Serve Day, there’s a place for you to get involved, love our neighbors, and make a meaningful difference in our community.
