Our Ministries
We're here to help the Family of God grow in their Faith, find Freedom, and build a better Future.
Kids
Our children’s church ministry, known as Kids Kingdom, exists to create an engaging learning environment to introduce the Gospel to your child in an age appropriate and relevant way. Children bring life and laughter to our lives, and at Friends we are dedicated to help your child discover their identity in Christ. Kids Kingdom classes at the church ministry are offered in-person on both Sundays and Wednesdays. Sundays include Nursery-Two years, Three Years-Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten-Fifth Grade at both the 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services. Wednesday evenings offer Nursery-Pre K while Growth Groups are meeting. At Friends, we have a passion for our children’s ministries and are working hard to provide a fun, safe environment for them to thrive in!
Students
Friends Church ministry welcomes students in grades 6 to 12 to participate in our weekly program. We strive to provide a place where teens can critically and honestly explore their faith, evaluate and internalize biblical truths, and experientially learn about Christ’s love for them, no matter their past mistakes or current doubts. In addition, we enjoy games and activities that engage the entire group. Throughout the year, we offer teen-focused events such as Student Mid-Winter Retreat, Summer Camp, Mission Trips, Quilt Camp and even a New Year’s Eve Celebration.
Young Adults
Looking for a reliable, consistent, and meaningful community that fits into your increasingly complex life? Maybe you’ve recently moved to the area, just graduated high school, or are hoping to make genuine connections? Wherever you’re from, there’s a place for you at Friends Church ministry. The young adults gather together to build lasting friendships, grow in their relationship with Christ, and engage in opportunities to give back to the community. The goal is to be an uplifting and encouraging group of 18-30 year olds who are living out their individually unique, passionate, and inspired lives, while deepening their understanding of biblical truths. Discipleship Classes
At the heart of the Christian faith is “discipleship” or, in other words, being a learner of Jesus (Mt 28:18-20). Growing as a disciple of Jesus doesn’t happen by accident; intentionality is required. Therefore, we have created Discipleship Classes. Discipleship Classes are not just another Bible study or small group. Instead, Discipleship Classes are short-term, in-depth courses geared to help take you to the next level in your faith on a specific topic. The purpose of these classes at the church ministry is to cultivate trust in Jesus, grow in holiness, and live on mission.
