Jace Holmes

Jace Holmes is the Director of Finance at Friends Church. He is passionate about strengthening the church’s stewardship and making sure every financial decision reflects both God’s kingdom and the mission of Friends. For Jace, his role is more than working with numbers, it’s about faithfulness, integrity, and using every resource to make an eternal impact.

Having served in churches his entire life, Jace has always felt at home in ministry. His love for accounting and numbers found new purpose when his wife encouraged him to apply for this role seeing how perfectly his financial background and heart for God fit together.

Jace is guided by Proverbs 27:23, which reminds him to stay diligent and attentive in all things. He approaches his work as an act of ministry, trusting that when God says “go,” he’ll follow wherever He leads. Jace hopes that when people interact with him, they leave encouraged and reminded of God’s presence through even the smallest details.

Coming from a long line of faithful servants, Jace is a fourth-generation active worker in God’s ministries. He is married to Monica, and outside of work he’s a published poet, enjoys bowling, and is a devoted Cleveland sports fan.
