Micah Reynolds is a Ministry Resident for Student Ministry at Friends Church. He is passionate about serving students and helping them build a personal faith in Jesus that they can truly call their own.

Micah’s journey into ministry began while volunteering on Wednesday nights, faithfully serving on slides and tech for more than two years. He was given the chance to share a message one Wednesday night—and he loved every moment of it. Over the months that followed, he was invited to speak several more times, and through encouragement from those around him, Micah began to sense God’s clear call to ministry.

His ministry is shaped by a simple principle: “Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care” For Micah, building trust and authentic relationships opens the door to sharing the hope of Jesus in a real and lasting way. His desire is that people leave their interactions with him noticing something different—a peace, confidence, and passion for the Lord that draws them closer to Christ.

Outside of ministry, Micah is passionate about fitness, a journey that has shaped both his discipline and outlook on life. Once nearly 280 pounds, he has lost 90 pounds and continues to pursue health to honor God and steward the life he’s been given.
