Seth Wenger

Seth Wenger serves as the Executive Pastor of Worship and Creative at Friends Church. He is passionate about creating meaningful moments where people can worship together, experience the life-changing message of God’s grace, and discover new ways to express gratitude to the Lord. 

Seth grew up as a pastor’s kid and felt called to ministry at a young age. He began leading worship on guitar at 12, went on to study church music, and stepped into his role at Friends after graduating college in 2012. His ministry is guided by a desire to keep worship centered on God’s Word, to let the gospel be the loudest message communicated, and to love others with the love of Christ.

In every setting, Seth values authenticity and genuine connection, whether through music, conversation, or simply being present. He and his wife, Hannah (who you’ll often see with a camera in hand as part of the Capture Team) met at Friends and now have three children together.

Outside of ministry, Seth enjoys being outdoors, exploring with his family, building Legos with his kids, watching Cleveland sports, sipping good coffee, and writing music. And if you really want to make his day, bring him with an ice-cold Coke Zero.
